DRE Compliance Services

Audit-proven DRE regulatory compliance infrastructure for California property management and leasing operators

DRE Compliance Built Into Your BOR

California Department of Real Estate (DRE) compliance isn't optional: it's required. Property management companies, leasing companies, and rental operators must follow rules for responsible broker supervision, trust fund handling, file documentation, license oversight, and advertising.

Loom Realty's BOR services include comprehensive DRE compliance infrastructure. This isn't a separate service or add-on fee: compliance oversight is built into your monthly BOR fee.

For a broader service overview, see Loom Realty's California broker of record for property management companies, or contact us if your property management or leasing operation needs DRE compliance support.

DRE Audit Proven

Our compliance framework successfully passed a California DRE audit covering nearly 2 years of transactions.

DRE Compliance FAQ

What DRE compliance services are included with BOR?

The monthly BOR fee includes recurring broker supervision, advertising compliance, a written compliance manual, and complaint guidance. Activity-based supervision and recordkeeping fees apply when work is generated: $100 per trust fund bank account per month for trust fund handling and reconciliation oversight, $100 per fully executed lease for supervision through the leasing workflow, and $100 per closed sales transaction for supervision through the sales workflow. There are no separate hourly compliance consulting charges for the standard service scope.

Do you provide DRE services for real estate brokers?

Loom Realty provides DRE compliance infrastructure through Broker of Record service for approved property management companies, leasing companies, and rental operators that need file standards, advertising review, trust fund workflow review, license roster review, and DRE-ready procedures. Loom is not a law firm and does not replace legal counsel.

What is DRE regulatory compliance for brokers?

DRE regulatory compliance for brokers includes responsible supervision, license oversight, record retention, advertising review, trust fund procedures, transaction file standards, complaint response, and written office policies. Loom Realty focuses on these issues inside the BOR relationship for approved California clients.

Has Loom Realty been through a DRE audit?

Yes. Loom Realty's compliance infrastructure has successfully passed a California DRE audit covering nearly 2 years of transactions. This is the same compliance framework we provide to our BOR clients.

What happens if I get a DRE complaint?

We guide you through the response process. This includes helping gather documentation, reviewing your response, and advising on proper procedures. Loom Realty has direct experience handling DRE complaints and investigations.

Do you help with trust fund setup?

We provide guidance on trust fund requirements: account setup, record-keeping, reconciliation, and DRE reporting standards. Trust fund violations are one of the most common areas where property managers face DRE issues, so proper setup is critical.

How often do you review our files?

We conduct ongoing compliance oversight rather than one-time reviews. You can submit files for review as needed, and we proactively check documentation standards. Our goal is preventing issues, not just catching them after the fact.

What if we're not currently compliant?

We'll work with you to get compliant. The compliance onboarding session covers DRE requirements and identifies any gaps in your current operations. We provide the written manual and ongoing guidance to bring your operations into full compliance.

What DRE sources should California property managers review?

Useful official references include the California DRE Licensee Resources page, DRE public license lookup, DRE Trust Funds Guide, DRE Broker Compliance Evaluation Manual, and the DRE Property Management reference chapter.

What does Loom Realty charge for property management BOR with compliance oversight?

Loom Realty Management & Leasing BOR service is $500/month plus a $500 onboarding fee. DRE filing fees are separate. The service is statewide California coverage under Kayla Jane Bramante, CA DRE #02017652.

How long does DRE compliance onboarding take?

Loom Realty typically estimates 4-6 weeks for DRE review after complete paperwork is ready and filed, depending on documentation readiness, business complexity, and DRE processing.
